This may include past jobs, areas of expertise, and individual “Claims to Fame.” You may update your Personal Record as often as you choose.
We use Your Information to enable you to use the Service. Specifically:
- Your Registration Information: This information is stored on The Capitol Crowd’s secure servers and is not shared with any outside parties. If you forget your password, you may send us an e-mail at info@capitolcrowd.com. A new password will be sent to the registered e-mail address you specified when registering for the Service. Publicly Available Information We collect the names, addresses, phone numbers, and other information of elected officials (referred to as “Public Information”), from public sources. The Capitol Crowd provides each such individual with a complimentary account, including e-mail address and password, so that the individual may log into the Site, select "Manage My Account," and access, change, add to, and update the Public Information contained in the record. We make Public Information available to our subscribers.
In addition, subscribers who notice errors in Public Information are encouraged to contact the Capitol Crowd via e-mail at info@capitolcrowd.com or call (512) 851-7760. Proposed corrections will be verified before data is changed or deleted.
While changes to Public Information are typically executed immediately, we reserve the right to verify the accuracy of such changes by, for example, comparing such changed information against other available sources. In addition, since Public Information is derived from public sources, we have the right to continue to make it available through the Service.
